“Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.” Proverbs 21:5 (NLT)
The college student began thinking about his thesis that morning, though its due date was six months away….
A twenty-five-year-old teacher surveyed his retirement possibilities, carefully noting the options…
Scampering around the yard, the squirrel buried food, even though winter was several weeks in the making…
Good planning and our future hmm....
Understanding this principle is vital to the imminent progress of our lives. There are many, however, who are unhappy in life because they’re not where they would like to be. There are others who experience great joy because they reap the rewards of the life they planned.
And there are far too many believers who reject the interval of time when God attempts to lay the groundwork and develop their character. This season of planning is necessary to qualify them for what God desires for them to accomplish.
We cannot afford to neglect to plan for our future. What type of builder would attempt to build a skyscraper without first consulting a blueprint?
Why is it any different when building a life? God wants to bring all of us into a great future, but only those who specifically plan ever experience it.
Although opportunity comes to all, only those who prepare themselves recognize the opportunity when it comes.
Develop a plan to reach the future you desire.
You are going to move into your future.
You may as well move into the one you plan.
Blessings
